Sky rocketing bitcoin prices unavoidably draw a lot of interest to the blockchain, being the technology that enables the existence of the cryptocurrencies.
Over 3 billion USD is raised via Initial Coin Offering (ICO’s) in 2017 alone with over 30 ICOs launching daily.
I am in no way suggesting that you must drop everything and run to purchase some bitcoin or invest in the next ICO, but the reality is that the cryptocurrencies are here to stay and you must absolutely learn as much about the subject matter as possible!
The space is extremely multidisciplinary and full of jargon, I see it as a fusion of computer science, math, programming language theory with financial economics and law.
Start from the beginning have the tenacity to stick with the very technical reading and accept that the technology moves on so fast that everything you learned today will no longer be relevant in 2 years!
